i doubt i'll have any luck around this board, but we're desperate. we're looking for a sxe gitarist to play in VIRGINSxxx. influences are: blacklisted, orchestral movements in the dark, joy division, swing kids, siege, refused. artsy noise punk/ emoviolence/ whatever the kids call it. send me a message if you're into it. -kxw

question? only because my curiosity gets the better of me. or maybe its because i'm a smart ass? what if someone wanted to try out and wasnt straight edge?

not edge wouldn't work. this project has a distinct direction and anyone that delves into chemical distractions would detract from that.

so...even if they were more than qualified, and like/played said music it would be a no go?

i've only done a few things in PA. mostly noise stuff. Goodnight Stars Goodnight Air, Men Fucking Men, On high in Blue Tomorrows, Scarecrows, brokenteeth, wristcutters and a few others. Doubt you know them, didn't play much ever. Other members were in forked tongues, death camp, declarations.

Rad. Haha so it sounds like a straight edge super group with all the other members from the rochester bands. Well good sir, I wish good luck with your endeavors! If u do find someone keep us posted as I am always down for new music. What made u move to Rochester and what do u think of the musicians comparatively?

if you want to live sober, by all means do it. Music has nothing to do with lifestyle, it is sound. Thats like saying you judge art by the artist. no one cares, were all different addicts with different needles in our arms.
