if you want to live sober, by all means do it. Music has nothing to do with lifestyle, it is sound. Thats like saying you judge art by the artist. no one cares, were all different addicts with different needles in our arms. I guess you're right. music is just a sound. but hardcore is a lifestyle. rock and roll is a lifestyle. i'm almost 30 and i can honestly say my life is built around hardcore. from relationships ending to jobs held, my priority is this lifestyle. Music these days lost it's edge. it's not about anything. you play shows, you don't entertain. i disagree with that. anyway, we're playing our first show friday at the flying squirrel. Virgins (xxx).we call it doomviolence/ post power violence. we play second. come check us out. I'll show you what i mean. Ill do what i can to make it as entertaining as i can.

bad luck 13 was awful. i saw that band 3 or 4 times, plus at hellfest. it was just a bunch of juggalos playing lazy metalcore trying to get arrested.

People do judge art by the artist. Hence why "better looking" musicians typically end up being more successful. Because people are judging more of the person making the music rather than the music it's self.

But Van gogh was a crazy fuck, and his shit sold like crazy Mozart and beethoven? ugly as hell.
