anyone else think this is bullshit??? cause it is. First of all dave sieling was not even part of the original line up. He was an addition to the band. Second of all the original remember tomorrow lineup kinda sucked. They werent good until JD came into play. which he literally recorded ALL and i mean ALL of the instrumentation for that cd. He wrote all of it, some of it was even recycled songs from previous bands of his.
Not Dave Sieling or anyone in the current "Remember Tomorrow" lineup has the right to be playing the songs off of that cd, let alone to be calling themselves remember tomorrow. By doing this you are taking something that you did not create and trying to win people over with bullshit. I will not support this band in any way shape or form...and i suggest to the rest of you to open your eyes and realize how fucking pathetic everyone in this "band" is. Fuck all of you. Why dont you make something for yourself.

WOW! well, I think Dave has EVERY right to do so, after all, HE WROTE ALL THE VOCALS, and recorded all of them... and to be fair JD, just used old riffs he had and "recycled them" for RT.. THEN for INK! Dave contributed ALOT more than you might have known! He started it back up to play music, as a musician thats what we like to do.. PLAY MUSIC!

its pretty obvious that you were in that band and your are probly in ice nine kills could be wrong but, see how fired up you are i just get that feeling. and if you are in ice nine kills this is what i have to say. Who cares you have your thing let dave have his be it with the remember tomorrow name. how do you think some of the dudes that were in inc feel when you guys play there songs that they help write and contribute to. shit happens man thats life and that is music. can said that i blame the dude starting over all the way blows balls. its not like its going to be the same band its different members and dave fuck dude some bands dont even have a single original member in them like napalm death.

Honestly....who cares if the name Remember Tomorrow is being used? I know the guys in INK don't care about that at all. The one thing I do agree with "guest" on is that they should be playing at least some new songs. Then again, we don't know if they will be or not. Obviously they're going to play some of the classics which no one should have a problem with at all, it's what the crowd wants and deserves they just shouldn't solely depend on songs written 4 years ago by someone else to carry them. Dave's a "friend" of mine and I know he's putting his heart into this and I think he does deserves a fair shot at trying to revive his music career, lets see where this goes....couldn't hurt.

rob you are so sadly mistaken...i am just someone who does not believe in sugar coated bullshit and has a genuine vested interest in the music scene.

and adrian i actually agree with you...my main point isnt that they are stealing a name...remember tomorrow is long gone...i really dont think they should be showcasing the cd that was recorded on their myspace until they have something that all of them contributed to to show everyone.
For the record writing vocals is a feat, however with guitar parts like what they had on that cd....you can tell which came first...music, not vocals...dave was not needed, there a million people who can whine into an auto tune rig in the world. and more than half of them who could probably do it better (not that that says much)

you realize no one 5 feet outside of water street music hall gives a shit about the new remember tomorrow OR even the old one! yes they did headline a lot of shows @ water street...but it's not like they were really drawing in all the people. it was all local bands selling tons of tickets that brought kids to their shows. i saw many RT shows at water street and can't remember too many people singing along with their songs EVER!
let this Dave character do what he wants...sure, like everyone else i have heard horror stories about this kid and what an arrogant prick he is, but if the kid wants to play music let him do his thing.

Dave is allowed to do as he wishes, If he wrote parts of the songs, he is entitled to play them, just as INK is playing "daves songs" Dave is playing "remember tomorrow's songs" They fucked him, and hes fucking them lets call it even and let them both do their thing!

personally i think everyone is investing too much time on the topic of bandnames and creative property.
heres an idea........go check them out and form your own unique opinion! good luck dave i hope its a success, and i cant wait to check it out.
p.s. whats wrong with wanting to play anything in general, i'm sure they will have devoted fans who will love them all the same, by hatin on it you are literally just creating more hype for a band u didnt like, and getting their fans to love them more. this sounds literally like its more about hurt feelings than musical integrity.
